Outside Manchester Camping

Morning all dropping my daughter off at Manchester Uni in the next couple of weeks and plan to stop just outside on Saturday night. Any campsite recommendations gratefully received.

I don't know of any really central. There's one a couple of miles from me in Bury which is about 8-10 miles north of the centre. I've obviously never stayed there, but it looks good and gets great reviews.

There's here Wilcocks Farm Caravan Site slap bang in the west pennies always seems busy never stayed there though probably about 15 miles from the uni, or here Home Farm Campsite | Explore Lancashire from Home Farm Campsite - The Camping & Caravanning Club that's in the same area
