oil extraction

Hi, I have just received a miller oil test kit, is there a way to get some oil out from the engine without having to go the trouble of removing the sump plug just enough to fill the small bottle 80 ml .
Thank you.

Pela oil extraction pumps use a rigid nylon tube down the dipstick tube.

I’d measure the dipstick tube internal diameter (poss the diameter of the dipstick where the O ring seal is??) and get on ebay for a meter of nylon tube that’ll clear.

You might get away with inserting the tube and sticking your finger over the end to lift some oil out or maybe need to rig up a syringe??

Just my 0.02p worth of ideas!

Small plastic syringe a clear hose that will fit in the dip tube, very cheap on Ebay.
Remove the oil while hot as less viscous and easier.

I also have just received a Millers Test Kit. The instructions are a tad vague. Should the engine be run to mix & warm the oil before taking a sample, or is it a case of stick a tube down the dipstick & suck some out cold?o_O I'd have thought the former, but there aren't any words to that effect.

Best after a long journey, longer the better. Be careful not to contaminate the sample.
