Oh No!! Hex+can Only Until 2015!

Is this right the RossTech Hex+Can only works on vehicles up until 2015?

I've got a Hex+Can which I've just hunted for for over an hour. To then realise I might not be able to use it on my new T6. Think I might go and sulk in a corner. Before I download the software, dust on a windows laptop and drag it all out to the van. Does anyone know if it will work by any chance on a 2018 T6?

OR Do you HAVE to have the new V2 version?
