I’ve read the whole thread, waiting for the T6.1 instructions. So I’ll be waiting. Some great people on here sharing their knowledge.

hm, I used the codes from another module, it works now, partially. If I want to change a temperature, and I tested several ones, I get the following:

other fields, e.g. a boolean value, works.
FWIW at the time OBDeleven did the adaptation for me.so unfortunately no solution since 2020. I also tried adaptation of channel “IDE06688-Auxil. heater activation”, as in the ross-tech thread, and it was accepted. That was my "e.g. a boolean value"![]()
Thank you for the offer. It's not a hurry, I actually just wanted to move the temperature range of the heater in support mode down a bit, but it's not that important.I’m in Germany too, I’m in Wiesbaden if that’s near maybe I can help. I have Odis on my laptop. I think that also calculates the adaptation automatically.
So far, (HERE on this forum)* there is nobody that has shown anything finished for the T6.1 FWIK.Do we think there will be a comprehensive guide regarding adapting the factory diesel heater fitted to the shuttle T6.1 to work as a leisure/camping heater soon? Been following for a bit, many thanks
Thank you very much for the heads up. I think I’ll probably just go down the route of getting an autoterm fitted then. Many thanksSo far, (HERE on this forum)* there is nobody that has shown anything finished for the T6.1 FWIK.
Only @eugene, for what I understand, has done it sussfully but the details are not yet published here because he needs more time.
So I guess we have to wait for that.
There are a couple commercial solutions too, but, besides hearing that they do not work properly (again, seen no proof of that) , and/or that they are too expensive, no one has shown HERE a full T6.1 implementation of them, FWIK.
Spolier warning:
my understanding is that any implementation, commercial or DIY, if done with new or reliably sourced parts will be anyway quite expensive, in the order of 1K pounds or more, depending on the options implemented.
Not that this much in Transporter world, but it may reduce the audience of the ones interested.
*I heard that in other forums some has given a complete solution, but this is not relevant to this discussion.
You are still supporting Russia - just not as directly as previously. The Russian director changed his address to Israel to get round the sanctions. The company is still Russian for all its pleading that it is based in Latvia now.Thank you very much for the heads up. I think I’ll probably just go down the route of getting an autoterm fitted then. Many thanks![]()

Eagerly awaiting this!I've been promising to share the guide but been very busy to be able to write the full instructions in one go.
So I will start writing here in small chunks.
