Hey guys,

My van has just hit 1500 miles remaining on the adblue. Got my 10l tub ready to pour but.....

I was going to order the VW filler - 000012499 Genuine VW Golf Passat Touareg AdBlue Filling Hose for 5L and 10L Containers | eBay - from a seller on fleabay.

Chap asked for my reg before I did & came back saying there is no oem filler listed for the T6, does anyone have one/seen one?

Sure I saw a post where someone had listed what looked like the same thing

Cheers, me!

I have the OEm filler tube, but it you are at 1500 miles you should be able to get a full 10 liters in and just use the spout that came with the container. What does the adblue display say is the min and max fill amount?

Cheers Loz

Not sure why the guy said it wouldn't fit, is yours the same part no'? I'm thinking although it screws on, is it the overfill air-pipe doesn't go deep enough to actually stop it being overfilled???? Just a guess

I was just after a clean fill up more than anything. Can't remember the minimum, think it was either 1.25G or1.5G but max today has now turned to 2.25G so just over 10L. I'll maybe give it another 100 miles or so & dump the 10L in.

Cheers, me!

When I fill mine, I always use the spout that comes with the container, and it works fine.
Once the spout is in, I always stab the bottom of the container to allow it to flow. Otherwise it seems to take ages to get it in.

I personally just look for a petrol station with it on pump (usually by the HGV pump), switch the units on the dash to Litres, use the read out on the pump (do NOT wait for handle to click) and hey presto, all done!

Usually pay about 75p/L too, so cheaper than Halfrauds and none of those nasty bad for the environment plastic bottles (;))

I wish it was that easy :( nearest pumped adblue is around 25 miles in a direction I never travel. If anyone knows of any in York, please shout
