so about 3 weeks ago I had an Ocado delivery van hit my wing mirror. Immediately I got out but the driver drove off. But I had a dash cam so got his reg.
I rang Ocado straight away about 21:00 and got a ref number and an email 2 days later. I got the following email
- Although our driver is unaware of the incident, we are sorry your vehicle has been damaged and will deal with your claim on a 'without prejudice basis'.
Please provide us with an estimate for the damage caused. On receipt of this I can then request a BACS payment made payable to yourself. If you could send your bank account number and sort code I can arrange for our finance department to process this which may take up to 15 working days to receive.
just checked my online banking app and they have paid.
I’m so impressed with these guys that they didn’t cause me a load of head ache with wanting video tape etc they just admitted it and paid.
