I have a t6 2017 102hp, Long story short I filled up at Costco for the first time on friday(only use v power usually) anyway since then the van started but was almost misfiring and being lumpy on first start, but as soon as you give it a little Rev it cleared and was fine.
I then got abit worried after looking online seeing the fuel pumps have a thing for self destructing and causing a big bill, so I found the location of the fuel pump and undone the two torx screws on top of the pump which holds the sensor part in(unsure of the name) just to see if there was any metal in the fuel.
Anway there wasn’t so I put it back together and the van started for 5 seconds and then cut out, now I know there is air in the system and I’ve used vcds to do the lift pump about 6 times to get the air out but the van still refuses to start, is there anything else I need to do?

That would be great if you don’t mind I’m happy to pay.
I’m hoping it’s just got air in the system

from memory there could be two lift pumps. (tank and engine bay)

Primary and secondary.

have another look.

if you have VCDS have a look at the Fuel Rail Pressure PID.

I’ve been priming the transfer fuel pump via vcds

I’ll take a look
I don’t see how anything has failed from me removing what I’m guessing is some kind of regulator and putting it back in.

just going to take the time to say how much of a niknak legend is! Proper decent down to earth guy and a very knowledgable guy, He managed to get the van starting by draining the fuel (very contained fuel), even though it’s not running great upon first start it hopefully sorts it self with the fuel cleaner

@Niknak ?

All back together and running correctly, unfortunately for Paul either the van had contaminated fuel or number two injector failing had contaminated the fuel, once I’d got it up and running the injector fault reared it’s head, confirmed by and injector specialist I pointed Paul in the direction of he had it tested and failed a spill back test, new injector fitted after work and coded in, fresh fuel filter and engines much happier now and running well, left Paul with the lovely job of oil and filter change. Got him all genuine parts and at a good price no way would I want to be paying retail for a genuine injector
