Non genuine rear bumpers - any experience?

Hi,

I need a rear bumper for my tailgate T6 but I'm not having much luck on the second hand market.

Has anyone fitted a non genuine rear bumper and if so how was the fitment? I watch a lot of salvage repair videos on YouTube and the content creators seem to like Prasco products but you never know if they're getting paid to say that. My painter used to recommend ECP Platinum Plus but the quality has gone massively downhill recently, their T6 arch liners are like bin bags compared to the genuine item.

Thanks!

Try Leighton vans, they do have genuine second hand bumper after fitting their Lv bumpers

Old thread revival (sorry).

I replaced my rear bumper after cracking it badly. The after market one I have doesn't seem to fit very well. Almost like it is a smidgen too short. In cracking the bumper I did destroy the mount, which I replaced and I don't think any panel damage has occurred. The top clip on the bumper isn't engaged on both sides.

I'm going to see if I can sort this on the weekend. As I first fitted this bumper not long after buying the van.
