Newly retired and just starting the search for a T6.1

2 bikes and a bed is always going to be tricky - but a lot depends on what bikes. 2x XL mountain bikes, then only a single bed is possible in reality.

2x Road bikes is a very different matter and probably doable in a LWB.

I have a SWB Caravelle and have a custom built interior which lets me have 2x full size mountain bikes (longest wheelbase 1350mm) with the front wheels off, and a single bed alongside them, and a full kitchen with sink/fridge etc.

Hey @TallPaul_S. I love the setup in your van. I'm currently sourcing a panel van so I can set it up as I intent to use it. Would you mind sharing where you sourced you kitchen and bike carrier? The single seat - do you use it as a bed? If not, do you have a sleeping arrangement in your van? Thanks in advance

After owning Vito Dillinger for 10 years I went for a LWB 6.1 KOMBI with twin sliders & a tailgate. Took over a year of looking. Other poster are right. Hold out for everything on your must have list. But also think about want you can change at what price. Owning a lifestyle van is a head & heart decision- my current requirements are currently in order - delivery van all seats out, day van & people carrier with 4 bikes in van - no requirement for sleeping at the moment

White would not have been my first choice, & I’m thinking of painting or wrapping the bottom half if budget allows, but at the moment happy with a black & white look
