Hi all. Soon to be purchasing my first VW T6 Camper. Do the prices tend to decrease in Autumn or should I just go for it now ? TIA

Hi Emlo,

I think that's just a myth that prices decrease I'm Autumn. If anything, prices have never been stronger, but I think that's down to owners being unrealistic with their price.

You'll get the occasional van pop up on eBay/Autotrader etc, but please be aware of the scammers....as the old saying goes "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!"

I bought my van in April, and 2 weeks later found it on eBay for 4 x lower than what I paid.

Thanks for that. Trying to use use reputable dealers. Our perfect van has just come on the market but it is a private seller and too wary to use private sellers.
Gutted for you over your van. It's a bit of a minefield.

I'd trust private sellers over garages, but that's just personal preference. Do a car vertical check on the private van, worth a shot
