Newbie To T6

hello everyone ...

Just got myself new T6, converted and supplied by Needingworth Campers ... well pleased with it ...
However ..... I noticed the passenger airbag wasn’t on .... so inserted key into switch and turned on ....
now on start up I get airbag fault warning !!

Is this easy fix ....

Cant help with fixing but, the cynic in me, would suggest that someone knew the fault was there and turned the airbag off to hide it??

That’s what I thought but turned it off and still there so ....

Once the fault shows it will never clear until it’s plugged in and manually reset
Personally I would make it a top priority to find out what’s going on, the thought of being involved in an incident with a loved one in the passenger seat ... well doesn’t want thinking about !!
My suspicion would be that there’s an issue with the airbag unit in the dash, are you planning to go back to where you bought it or look into it yourself ?

It’s actually not that tricky to lay eyes on the passenger airbag unit and see the connector that it plugs into you just need to drop the glovebox out which is seven screws and the complete unit comes away with the mounting frame
