Newbie after some help

Might need to post in electrics, but....
Picked up my t6 today and discovered it's restricted to 65mph,. Dealer told me the can sort it or any garage with VAGCOM. The dealer is a 160mile round trip so does anyone have any idea if any garages around Swindon or in Wilts have VAGCOM?

I'm sorry I can't help you but I'd be annoyed to find that out after completing the purchase, the dealer should have told you before purchase in my view and should cover any subsequent cost you might incur getting the restriction removed. Just my opinion!

Not sure it can be removed with VCDS. Thought it was written to the ecu. Sure someone on here will point you in the right direction.
