I've started planning the lining of my van and was thinking to put some cash away to get it done by New Wave in South Wales. Their work looks extremely good and about the best I've seen.

Has anyone here used them already? I'd like to get some feedback before the 6 hour drive!!

I've visited New Wave and it is a very professional set up. I would recommend.

To set my comment in context.
I sent an enquiry via their website contact form and received no reply.
Emailed this morning using the address given above and have got a pretty prompt reply. They can't help me but that's another matter.

Thanks @StudleyGlass, hopefully @Twoguns will see your post!
Hi @DaveF I had mine converted back in January this year. I was very lucky in that they have a very long waiting list and I managed to get a cancellation as VW delayed the customers order.
Their finish is nothing but out standing. I had the top lining package with Alcantara Front Cab Headline Re-Trim and rear Alcantara Slatted Rear Headline which although expensive really is something to see and puts the finish in a class of its own.
As you maybe aware I have had a major emissions fault that went on for months. VW inspected the conversion work as I think they were hoping that was causing the issue as they had no idea of how to fix the fault. What they did comment on was how good the wiring and finish of all the electronics was and that it was some of the best work they had ever seen and very neat and tidy. I had a heater, leisure battries, 240v campsite hook up and all audio upgrade instaled so a lot of work was done all of which works very well.
The only problem I had was the new Kenwood head unit packed in which they replaced as soon as kenwood sent them a new one only for that one to pack in too. This was then replaced with a Panasonic and touch wood all good now.
Emily is very helpful and the owner Mike is also a top guy who responded to my Emails over the weekend when their workshop was shut.
Just beware they are very busy and I expect you will have to wait a long time before they can fit you in so best get an appointment and get on the list.

@Twoguns thanks a lot for the reply, much appreciated. I'm going to get mine booked in asap then. It's good to hear someone else has had a good job done. Sorry to read about your issues too - I'm loving my new van but the only thing that gives me shivers is the fact I'm back to dealing with VW dealers, who are generally useless! Hope you get yours sorted

What you thinking of having done?

I use the van for MTB trips (but not to sleep in), so its a fairly simple lining job I reckon - sound-proofing, carpeting and headlining. Will probably add speakers in the back and a bit more stuff (I'm bound to get carried away!)

You could always include a day at Bike Park Wales while your in the area. Top Place if you love your Mountain biking.

Ha! That's deffo on the wishlist! Emily says it'll be about a week to do the van, so I'll either drop down for a week of riding (hopefully) or (if the wife has her way) I'll bring the family and head for the coast! I've only ever been to Cardiff (to watch rugby and drink beer) or Pembroke (for work!) I'm looking at April next year, so hopefully they'll squeeze me in....

Good luck and drop me a PM when your heading to BPW as Ill try and meet you there as I'm a lucky sod in that its only 20mins away from my house.

Only fly in the ointment is that New Wave want £500 (non-refundable) deposit when you book. I'm not going until next April so paying that now seems a bit rich. Guess I'll have to contact them again later in the year (when handing over cash in advance doesn't seem so bad!)
