Pete
I haven’t, iv never bought anything from a vehicle auction. I wouldnt think you can view the vehicles because of covid can you? I wouldnt dare bid without seeing it in personWelcome!
Have you scouted auctions?
Im under abit of pressure, iv sold my caddy for more than i even thought i could get for it and his chaffing me to let him have it, but i need a t6 first ideallyTime is plentiful
don’t buy till your happy with your chosen van
I was also a caddy owner for 10 years before moving to a t6 I can’t believe what I got for it I lost £2000 in the 10 years of owning it incredibleIm under abit of pressure, iv sold my caddy for more than i even thought i could get for it and his chaffing me to let him have it, but i need a t6 first ideally

Euro 6, dsg, indium grey, dsg, highline, panel van or kombi, tailgate, aircon, and as many extras as possible. I'm an auto electrician and we do all factory retrofits so heated seats and things like that aren't a must as i can do after. Ideally below 70k miles. £24k is my max really.
It’s that horrible “tipping point” for any buyer: paying a bit more buys more but that “bit more” takes you over your limit. At the risk of sounding like a boring old fart, (which I am,) I would advise against spending money you can’t afford. Enjoy your van without feeling it is a millstone around your neck!I think you are looking in the same "zone" I was, but in the end I found that spending more got me an ex demo unit with less than 3K on the clock

Spot on @DXXAs @JOG said ‘I would advise against spending money you can’t afford. Enjoy your van without feeling it is a millstone around your neck!’
It very much depends on what you want the van for, personally I have very little interest in cars and vans, I just use them to make it easier to do the stuff I want to do.
When I’m travelling I see plenty of people all over Europe in some very basic vans, they appear to be enjoying the experience and have made it to the same locations as the 80K plus brigade.
