Mobile Valeting - Anyone do it/Done it?

Another service... Option... underbody anti corrosion applier technician... Would have paid someone handsomely to have sprayed my lanoguard on.... Or bilthammer etc. know of a few people on here as well that would have done...
Oh aye, classic car owners, the 4x4 boys, a lot of folk would pay for that. Probably relatively inexpensive start costs. Premises, two poster lift, the spray kit, tea bags.

Just to add to what others have said, we have a guy who comes to the office and details peoples cars in the car park once a month. Always popular here and you need to book him in advance. Offers three different options which vary in price. The company also gets the pool cars cleaned by him too.

I don't know how old you are @T6ChrisO , but think about what job you'll be happy at in 10 years time. Will you still want to be cleaning cars?
People underestimate how much work it is.
I was running my detailing business (with staff) for four years as a student. Cheapest detail €400 and always fully booked.
It's nice to thing about standing in the heated workshop and see the latest coating on the GT3RS - but holding the machine for 20 hours and having to push into the night because it needs to be done isn't as glamorous as instagram.

I can't imagine being on someones drive in the winter with wet hands for £20 - and then get told there is a fly on the intercooler "thought that is included for the price..."

Go into detailing and talk to local clubs, visit a Porsche, Ferrari, what ever meeting. The owners have a few more cars and more friends.
Also the "rich" are much easier and nicer. Never had stress with a Lambo or GT3 owner - but you don't want the Golf boys..

How much do you want to take home every year? How many cars a day? Material is not cheap.
It's not realistic to work under £60/h if you pay tax and want a few weeks holiday a year.
Some days will have no work at all. Don't talk to dealers, they want the all-in package for £15/car.

Send me a text if you need more information.

If I would do it again I would offer dent removal and spot repair.

Yes I can imagine its not easy mate, I know its going to be a bit of graft but as mentioned above, it might only be for a year or so but then again, I may love it and want to continue!

Plenty of rich folk round here so hopefully I should be alright but If I never get that 'one' customer like you describe, I've done well ha ha.

As mentioned in my reply above, its only to top up my main income during quiet spells. If my freelance CAD really takes off, this may end up being a none starter anyway but for now, its just something to keep the wolf from the door and yes........ im going to free my knackers off on someones drive during winter ffs

Thank you mate, I'll reach out if I think of anything (only valeting though, not getting into machine polishing and detailing)

But what is your business plan? How much do you charge for a Golf, a T6 or a private jet?
How long to you think you need to clean a T6 inside/outside?

According to the Daily Fail, it’s how Kerry Katona funds the private school fees for the fruit of her loins! (Though I am unsure whether any fruit has been harmed in making the content I still reckon viewing would require a wide screen!)
A wide-screen and a welding mask!
