I'm not one bit surprised by this, the police are woefully understaffed, will all the austerity cuts, they are running at minimum staff and at an all time low, I have many friends who are in the force and they tell me that they are running with 8 people on a shift to cover a huge area, compared to 22 which included a dog officer and a traffic officer.....
So no wonder less is getting done, they are doing a job with their hands already tied....
But as Mr Camoran said "WERE IN THIS TOGETHER"

I simply don't understand why they can't hand out fines that cover the cost of policing. No point in being precious about it. You want to drive, you accept the responsibility, you break the rules you pay what it costs. Just like you pay what it costs for everything else in life.

Why do people use their phone at the wheel? I can't understand why you would deem anything that important over your life and everyone else's ? Dumb!
