MFSW T10 cable route

Hi all
I think I’ve read all the info on here there is to read several times. So either the info isn’t there, or I glazed over at the wrong time.
Anyway, I’m about to do the MFSW with cruise on wheel mod to a van with no cruise to start with. Therefore, I need to run a cable from the T10 pin 1 to the back of the steering wheel.
What is the best route? Is there an easy way through the bulk head? Is it best to come through behind battery and run behind dash and across to MFSW, or run behind engine and pop through closer to steering wheel.
I haven’t looked closely at the van yet, but would be great to get some insight from those who have actually done this bit of the mod.

Mine runs behind the battery, grommet top left of glove box and the along dash. I can send pix if itll help.

On the shuttle I could only see 2 grommets, 1 of which I couldnt get to. (the other grommet is below this one just above the wheel arch but I couldnt get to it)

The blue and white cable was run from under the battery/fuse board and then through the firewall through the grommet (seen below) and then along the bottom of the dash to the bcm. I used that grommet to run all my cables (EHU/DCDC/spare)
