I recently fitted a Golf Mk 7 steering wheel to my van but it came with buttons I don't recognise. Does anyone have any idea what variant they are from and what the functions are so I can dispose of them on'bay

Second photo is of the cruise control, volume for the media centre and little flappy ones are for scrolling through radio stations etc. No idea of variant but similar to the steering wheel control in my T6 high line.

5G chassis is a golf but it’s no guarantee as parts are often moved between platforms

Thanks. I have just never seen the 'view' or the button above the +volume before. The rest makes sense. The wheel came from Germany as a Mk7 golf wheel so maybe they have different buttons available over there.

view button is for the active display so digital dials, allows you to toggle between different display set ups, not sure about the other one.

My MK7 Golf has every option on it, but doesn't have 'view' or that pic of a car with the sensors on.

I have the digital dash in my GTD and it doesn’t have that, maybe it is on lower spec ones?

Likewise.

This was bugging me, view button on my A4 allows me to change the digital display. However on VW it looks like it is when surround view/360 camera is added that you get the button with the sensors/cameras all round the car and then the view button will let you change what you see.

Thank you, that makes sense. Didn’t realise the golf had that as an option.

Did a little search and it looks like they fit a golf7/passat but cant be 100%
