Looking for a sliding vent to fit this window?

I realised I never posted the solution I finally came up with. A couple of pieces of black Correx corrugated plastic sheet cut to suit the window aperture and inserted into the upper and lower channels. I didn’t use the louvered vent after all. Having tested it in heavy rain it has proved remarkably effective at keeping out water whilst allowing air to flow freely through the open windows. When not in use the two sheets are stored flat behind the driver’s seat.

Great idea and packs flat.
If you glued on a narrow strip of similar material (see red arrow on my copied photo) at the bottom it would eliminate and chance of rain running inside.
If I hadn’t sealed up my slider I’d be making one.

Just a quick one, I've been to Lidl today, lots of car type items, from cleaning products to great plastic tool sets for vehicle panel removal.

But I found these, small pop out window sun shades (2), £2.60 if I remember and look like they will fit the sliding window gaps, comes with suckers, but prob not needed.

Sorry I cant check them against my van as its in the garage at moment. But for that price I thought I'd let this community know this asap.

So if you head down to Lidl don't forget to get the obligatory trumpet and wetsuit.
