Hi @Weeman, I've already gone the de-badges route, a smooth arse is so much nicer. Did you take the VW badges off to spray them?
Did you have to rub down the original chrome finish first?
And finally what did you use paintwise? Plastikote?
Want to do mine black and white, was initially going to see if I could buy such off flea-bay, but can't find what I want.

I used plastidip which I got from flea bay. You don't have to mask precisely as the excess just peals off when it dries. You don't need to rub down first and you can peal it off the badge at a later date if you change your mind
