Hello,

just taken the seats out to get things organised for the heater to go in... and i discovered that we have slight condensation on the battery (as in on the plastic casing) and some of the cables..

Anyone had this before? If so what do i do about it? We had no condensation on the windows - since using our rainbow screens...

ok thanks, i did that last night.. I also undid the rear quarter panel that i've carpeted.. im going to install a vent as i reckon I've covered the holes and this may well not help for ventilation..

Ventilation is always good but the problem here is that the battery temp can rise by a few degrees when charging (or heavy discharging) and once the surrounding air cools you get the condensation. You could always lag it if it becomes a persistent problem.

ok thanks - what would you suggest to lag with? (sorry never done that before!)

The ideal thing would be what VW fit on the van battery. Otherwise anything that has a warm to the touch surface. Lining carpet maybe.
