Leisure Battery management

Interested in some advice on managing the leisure battery in our conversion.

Should we regularly give the van a run to charge it up, or hook it up at home? Or is it OK to leave it for weeks if the van isn’t used? We do have a solar panel on the roof which I assume does trickle some charge into it constantly.

If you`ve a solar panel for the leisure battery, it should keep it topped up. Ours is always at full charge with the solar.

As long as there is nothing drawing charge from it, you can leave it for many weeks.
