Leak!!!!

Although I've had the van for 5 weeks I've only started using it this week...
I went to see Dad in hospital, when I returned to the car park I saw a small pool of oil and thought "can't be from my van its brand new" anyway it turns out it was from mine!

Dropped it off to Listers Stratford-upon-Avon yesterday, they were a bit quick to blame Transporter HQ for causing the leak when they fitted the B14's.. and that it wouldn't be covered on warenty.

A quick call to Andy at T HQ put my mind ease.

VW called tonight to say it was a faulty bolt on the gear box casing and that it was no one's fault but VW.
Anyone else had this problem??

Fingers crossed she'll be back on Monday.

Amazing how they jump to the immediate conclusion that some one else has caused the problem!!!!
I take it you have the DSG box. A fair few people have been reporting this fault in another area of the forum.

I know! @StudleyGlass said there were a few cases.. Let's just hope there's no long term damage... and yes it's a DSG box.

Only popped up a few weeks back though then suddenly there were several, new person fitting gearboxes on the production line ?
