Large front brakes

Today another t32 kombi 140 parked up next to me at Saunton Sands. I had a chat and noticed he had big brakes on the front. Mine are little brakes ?
I was led to belive all t32s had large brakes. Anyone know any different ?

As far as i no the euro 6 150 and 204 have the large brakes fitted as standard but on the euro 5 model only the 180 gets them. so i was told by my dealer + the 140 loner i had were the smaller units too.

The top one is mine and the bottom his. Not an extra. These came as standard.

His was a 140 apparently. You'd think they would put due big brakes on the 4wd version as heavier.

Yes. He later fitted range rover wheels

Probably an age thing, a while back all the t32's got the 17" brakes, over time it was reduced( cost saving ) to just the 180bitdi t32- so I'd guess his was a fair bit older. Looks like the range has got bigger on the euro 6 with both the 150 and 204 going 17"

The bigger brakes do have a bigger punch about them which is nice.
