Lane Assist on a T6?

Hi, I've read several posts but haven't found an answer to my question. I have a VW T6 Ocean and I would like to activate the lane adaptive assistant. it's possible? I have ACC and headlight assistant as standard.
Thank you

I don't think lane assist is possible on the T6 as it doesn't have the electric power steering that the T6.1 does?

Looking at this from the other end of the telescope, if one has a VW with all these new-fangled bells and whistles - especially 'Lane Insist' as I term it - and doesn't want them 'interfering' with the driving experience, I believe modern vehicles need these features switched off manually EVERY TIME the engine is switched on.

Is it possible, using VCDS, to arrange the ADAS features as you want them, and for this setting to remain UNLESS/UNTIL you want to change the mode?
I feel sure that would be welcomed by many (but not the Authorities!), so I am guessing it wouldn't be easy.....?

They managed it with the stop/start switch so if there is a lane assist switch I don't see why not?

I have read @Shadow109 (Abdullah. Adhami) 's posts on his Tik Tok and found his reply on EPS retrofit. As far as I know he did the retrofits:
1- MK100ESC
2- Lane Assist with VW UP! Power Steering
3- MQB-A0 stalks (as I have seen on video)
4- R-LINE MFSW with ACC
He also changed his front windshield to T6.1's.

Other things else I don't know, but these are pretty enough for our next breakthrough.

Personally having come across two types of lane assist, in my previous car a GTI polo, I could live with it. I also have an updated version that I detest in my Audi, for me its a welcome break when I drive the van NOT to have it. I do however appreciate some like it, but its certainly something I personally wouldnt add.

Couldn’t agree more first thing I turn off in my motors 👍🏻

It was close to what I would call 'dangerous' in my UP GTI. And it was defaulted to on from factory.

Anyway as you were.
Same in my Golf R which I’ve mentioned previously is truly dangerous! It is a nice driving experience but the sensors for everything do my f**king head in! Had none of that in my old mk7 R. Not sure I’d have another new one☹️

So far I did a quick research and found UP! features a C-EPS whose the motor is mounted on the column. And there are a few variants
1- 6R1 (TRW_LOW) of course I believe won't support LKA
2- 2Q1 (TRW_MQB) of course supports LKA
3- 2Q2 (TRW_MQB_LOW) also supports LKA
so from this logic I come to be safer to my conclusion that 2QD 909 144 series will be working fine on Transporter.

However, my community members in China say the C-EPS may not work as well as P-EPS (such as the 1K0909144 series)
What can be the tradeoff?
