Kombi 3rd Row - rear heater

Hi

Looking to put a third row of seats into a new Transporter Kombi 6.1 SWB. I have the rear heater matrix fitted from factory.

I’d like to be able to remove the seats As won’t use them all that often. I understand only the three seat bench will fit third row. Does the heater unit on the drivers side wheel arch still allow the bench to be fitted?

Yes - My T6 was delivered with 9 seats and rear heater ie triple bench seat in the back.

Its F heavy - two person job IMHO. And bulky to store and you need the inertia reel belts both sides.

How many extra seats do you need?

Just two extra seats in total. Just need to seat 8 occasionally.


On another note had factory prepared fittings for roof rails - do the Leighton vans roof rails fit ok?
