Hi all, have to admit I’m not a T6 owner but I’ve been a traveller for 40 years + hope that counts for something.
I see a lot of good info posted from this forum so I thought I’d see if I can tap into some knowledge‍

I’m wondering if any of you have one of the original Roamer under seat batteries?
The 1st gen of them?
I’m thinking of buying a second hand one for a good price!
Any good comments / reviews of this battery? It’s a little difficult to find info on the 1st version

I've got a Gen2 and Gen3.

has that one got an app?

got any screenshots from it?

the cells are rated for 4000+ charge cycles, so should be good for 10+ years if cycles everyday. . .

so the resale value is very good provided the cells are all good and its not been left in a discharged state for any notable amount of time.

Hi there, here is a screenshot shot of the last BMS reading, the only thing I’m concerned about are the 5 low temp charges, however it you see anything of note please let me know.

2 cycles - battery looks brand new from that pic.

Just another point of note; it’s now 3+ years old, if it good and I can get 6+ years from I will be happy.

Thank you, very much appreciate your reply, do you think those low temp charges are of concern, I assume not, otherwise I suspect you would have picked up on them.

the BMS would block the charge at low temps,

so i assume that the 5 low temp alarms are just that - just warning that the temp is cold.

the rest of the BMS readout looks like a brand new battery? (unless the BMS data has been reset?)

im sure it will be fine . . a couple of full charge /discharge cycles will tell you if its good or not.

Well that’s a very interesting point you make, I didn’t realise that you could reset the data readout.
However; I’m inclined to agree with you, it doesn’t make sense to have the ability to reset 1 set of information and leave older (potentially negative) information in there.

so it does indeed look good.
