Knocking from front when turning.

Hi, my T6 has started knocking from front drivers side when turning, any ideas on what the problem could be?

It has been lowered by the previous owner, I’ve had it 2 years and only recently started.
The common knocks are. ARB drop links. Particularly noisy when appying steering lock as there is big force on them .

hi mileage vehicle could be a drive shaft CV. But this isn’t common on low mileage vans

lastly. Top shock mounts. The newer T6 isn’t as strong as the earlier T5. And we replace them often. In low mileage vans

Re top mounts - do you replace with OEM bits or is there a preferred aftermarket brand? Meyle sell a 3 part heavy duty top mount kit which looks reasonable. (Ally collar, bearing and rubber collar)

We always use. Genuine. VW. Parts. But as they only make the T6. Ones now. If client doesn’t want to spend the 160 quid. For the 6. Parts. Needed We would supply aftermarket on a T 5. The Meyle aren’t too bad.

Thanks, sounds very much like the ARB drop links as only send to happens when turning left or right on full lock.
