Kiravans MV Airo 2KW Diesel Heater

has anyone got one of these installed in their van ? and if so what are your thoughts on them ? they are on offer @ the moment for £560 which is a lot cheaper than a webasto, I appreciate the quality won't be the same though.

Have another with 106 hours working (2018 model) - price will be under the Ebay one as the price has to go up for the fees that I get stung with on there.

Yes I have an MV Aero heater in my van. Its been fine for the two years I've had it. It's mounted under the drivers seat. The exhaust is a bit noisy. I wouldn't like to be in a tent lying next to it. Internally it's not too loud, but I've never heard any other heaters to be able to compare. It comes with a remote connector which is good so have wired it into my tracker so you can switch it on remotely either by the UHF remote fob or via the tracker app. A lot cheaper than the official solution. I have included a timer switch though so it switches off after 30mins, in case I activate it accidentally.

Hi, I’ve just installed an MV Airo 2 and trying to work out exactly how it operates. It’s the rotary rheostat control. When I run it on ‘variable output’ mode, ie it just runs and it’s output is manually controlled using the knob, it works fine. When I try and run it in thermostatic mode (the mode I mainly wish to use) it comes on initially and after a while cuts out, however it then doesn’t come back on again, even if I open the doors/windows etc to let the heat out. The manual is pretty useless in terms of this particular control. Any ideas? Thanks!
