Kenwood and display

Hi all, maybe someone can answer couple questions.
Is it only the vow models of kenwood navi/head units that can display the park sensors when in use and the climate controls etc or can I get an interface to make recently purchased DNX8170DABS do the display functions?
Also I've seen a utube video where someone has somehow got info from a kenwood unit to appear in the MFD in the instrument cluster ( does navigation tuns and radio station info from what I can see in the video)

Just checking the specs, it appears it doesn't have this feature on the 8170... only the VW units like the 516dabs and the older models like the 525

The only way is by a connects2 infomadapter, which displays parking sensors through the rear camera input, also works with the MFSW but will not display much in the MFD
