Hi all
We have a kampa travel pod motion air awning and after several attempts im never happy with how it positioned. I struggle to position it so it just covers the front passenger door but also clears the side door when it is opened. The last thing i need is to rip the awning when opening the side door. Has anyone else got one and sussed out the best way to do it ?

We have a Vango Idris, and have to get the positioning of the awning alongside the van exactly right otherwise we hit a similar issue to you. Generally it isn’t a problem now, as we have got used to correctly aligning the two, but it may be that your awning is slightly shorter than ours so the positioning is more critical.

When ours is spot on, the sliding door still rubs on the underside of the awning when fully open, but not in a way that concerns us.

Thanks guys but i'm not sure c rail locks would sort it. It seems to me like the awning is simply not wide enough to cover the edge of the front passanger door but also allow the sliding door to fully open without risk of the awning tearing :(
