It's Only Rock & Roll But I Like It

My conversion (T6 Transporter LWB) has been put back by a few months but I'm down to 2 convertors now and am awaiting more detailed quotes after some ballpark figures. Finding bespoke converters has been harder than I expected, it seems many want you to get what they build with few options.

In finalising specs I was left with untold options for beds and so I've popped in to ask what you have fitted.

In an ideal world I'd like a bed system on rails with back and forth movement, crash tested, one that has proper shaped seats, ISO fittings for child seats and can also be removed for moving 'stuff' about ( Bikes, Kayak, Skis, Dogs, Logs, Sprogs )...

The RIB seems to be the one that ticks the most boxes but empties the most pennies.

Anything else out there I should look at ?

Also look at Reimo Variotec or a VW Caravelle rear triple. Both are on sliders and can be removed.

The Uberbus looks the best option to me.
I'm in a similar position to the OP looking for a r and r bed on rails. The RIB appears to be is the best seat and bed option. The Cali rail system is the better rail system with the ability to lock it every 120mm rather than only 2 positions on the Reimo. Put the 2 together like Uber bus have and it seems to me to be the logical solution.

With the Uberbus would you be able to slide the bench back and put a kombi seat in to the rails giving you an 8 seater?

Hi there
As mentioned above I am after a bed on tracks.
Having sat on numerous beds at the motor home show at Exeter yesterday the California seat is the one for me. I am 6ft 1 and my feet didn't touch the floor on the RIB bed! Not comfy for longer trips.

The seat offered by Cambee their own design was nice but I am not keen on their conversion its a bit twee for me.

I was most impressed by Ecowagon in terms of seat and their overall package.

Cambee second MAL third and then the others
