Ah, it was the loss of reflection? I thought it was cloud. It was really sparkling for a bit though as it clipped along
Yeah, I believe the light you see is reflection of sunlight....someone with better knowledge than me will confirm

I’m in north Hampshire and had a great view! Really dodgy pic taken on my grubby phone!!! Also had a bonus shooting star after it passed over.
Will there be a pass tomorrow night? Might dust off my binoculars though I suspect tonight’s weather was the best

Are you using the GoISSWatch app? I downloaded it following a recommendation on this thread last year. For the first time ever it pinged me around 20:00 to say ISS was due over in two mins!!!
