Is it safe to put a tec screw in the D pillar

Can’t find anything specific, but wondering if it’s safe to put a tec screw in the places in the photo:

I'd have thought a short tec screw would be safe yeah. Maybe solder hole in carpet iron first.

The wire bundle should be close to the outer skin, no guarantees.
I’d put a stop on the drill to limit depth penetration, make the tapping with the shortest screw, remove the screw and grind off the point before refitting.

There are holes up and down that part anyway, can't you use those? There are like 4-5 from memory

You can see all the existing holes on the third photo here. I would feel through the carpet and then bang a rivnut.

First steps on the journey to our new camper. Base van is a new 4Motion LWB, delivered yesterday. Ceiling panels out, and first fix of the wiring along the roof lines, in preparation for the pop-top to be fitted next week.

If you use the existing holes you could use the plastic expanding clips as per the other panels (depending on what you are wanting to attach to the pillars)

Similar to others have suggested, I've used rubber well nuts in the exsiting holes successfully.
