We’re in the market for a new cab set of internal thermal blinds. Preferably reversible, black on one side, silver on the other. I’ve found suitable ones from the above named suppliers, but they seem to get mixed reviews. Both suppliers are claiming that their current offerings are “new models”. Does anyone have any experiences good or bad? I’m also open to suggestions.

Vanstyle

Fuel Lagoon

Just looking myself at which ones to go for... Vee Dub Transporters, Just Kampers, Vanstyle & others...
any recommendations???

We went for the Vanstyle ones in the end as they’re reversible & black on one side which is better for winter use & stealthing. Seem good quality, the front screen one isn’t a perfect fit & seems a tad to big, but it’s better than being too small.

I have an external Maypole thermal blind set in the for sale section if thats of any interest? I know you're after internal but worth a mention

Sounds good.. cheers dude.

I am looking for thermal blinds for the front cab area. I have a dash cam mounted on the windscreen next to the rear view mirror. I can’t be the only one. How has that affected anyone else’s fit if the windscreen thermal blinds? I’m wondering how they compare to the Vanstyle ones for fit/quality?
Also, has anyone got the THQ blinds?

Fuel lagoon is local to me and make on site. I had issues with the fit of vanstyle so took van to them and they used my van to update their template
Sure if you speak to them they could make you a bespoke blind while you wait or send them a template

That’s interesting to note @Hilly64 that Fuel Lagoon have updated their template. I think their fit was questionable before. Do you have the fuel lagoon blinds now? What would you say about their quality? Any comment on how they fit around the mirror?
Does anyone know why whether the van has rain sensors matters on thermal blinds? 🤔

they only updated their templates for my T6 twin door Kombi, vanstyle were way off the mark (sliders were well short) so they kindly did a measure and made sure they made some to fit spot on tbf. I would say quality was better than the vanstyle

I dont personally use front blinds as prefer external but I am sure they can advise you of fit etc, nice family run outfit

I have the fuel lagoon external cover for the windscreen (basic plastic one for summer) and it’s a bit baggy on the side windows. My thermal winter one from rainbow screens is perfect (although that was 5 times as expensive even though it was second hand)

Just got the internal thermal one for the rear screen which I think is fuel lagoon too, that fits well and should be good for winter trips. Now looking for an option for the SWB NSR window, can’t see these being sold anywhere

I have an external screen cover for front and side windows. I am looking for a quick and easy option if we’re travelling and stopping off a site.
I want to be able to drive away if I need to without a lot of fuss.
