Internal Lights Blown

Hi.

Is the bulb in the interior step light the same as the two map lights as my 7.5 fuse has blown. The overhead lights looked great for 30 seconds.

Yes mate. Same as map lights

Thanks, thought they were, every time I do a 5 minute job there's always a problem.

If that fuse is blown you will also have no tear lights

Yes they are, I'll sort it tomorrow... hopefully. Going to change the headlamp bulbs next, now that will be fun.

Well fuse changed, put old bulbs in still nothing happened, any ideas anyone?

No they never came on, I've checked all the fuses in the box and they are all fine. Do all the bulbs have to be in place for them to work to make a circuit like a Christmas tree? I've left a couple out. Also the new bulbs are LED so I can't see if they have blown, but would all four bulbs blow at the same time?

No they don’t all have to be in and don’t forget LEDs have polarity so if you fit one and it doesn’t work spin it 180 and refit

I had a similar issue, spent ages scratching my head and pulling fuses then someone on here said start the engine and that fixed it. Guess it did a reset or something.
Worth a try?

That's exactly what my mate said, leave it and it may reset, and it did. Although he wasn't the expert I thought he was using the T6 forum on his phone, he did exactly the same as me but it worked when he did it, pure luck.
