Interiors With Bed Extended

Right, I've searched and searched, and I simply cannot find a decent photo showing the space once a rock and roll bed in extended in a SWB T6. I would really appreciate if someone could show me theirs extended. Or at least give me some measurements.

I currently have a 2016 SWB T6 which I am umming and aaring about trying to convert, or whether I sell it and buy a LWB (either to convert or already converted).

It all really depends whether there will be space for the dog to sleep on the floor at the end of the bed once it is extended. (I have already had people tell me to just let the dog sleep on the bed with me, but she's a 1 year old black lab and has a tendency, if given the chance, to wake you up in the middle of the night with some rather passionate snogging!) Hence the need for a floor based bed for her.

There is about 40cm between the end of our bed and the front seats when the bed is down. The bed is a Streamline model. Depending on the bed, there could also be space under the end of the bed.

You can also buy hammock beds that sling across the front seats.

It will depend what bed you have as some have a slide out frame under the bed but with our RIB folded out, we have the width of the fridge clear of the bed but also there is an extra 18in under the front part of the bed as well. Sorry the van isn't here so can't photograph it.

Thanks Guys. That's perfect Looks like it might be a RIB Rock and Roll bed. Doggie and sleep underneath at the end then.

This is a RIB fitted to a SWB Transporter. The bed comes to the edge of the ‘fridge when extended, and there’s space below the bed too.

This is a Smart bed Evo R. Albeit, it's in my LWB. there's plenty room underneath the front section of the bed that would accomadate a Lab lying down. Plus you can slide the whole thing forward giving space at the rear for a dog to sleep at the tailgate end. Can take a few more pics in different configurations tomorrow if that would help.

Took this as part of the photo pack to get my van registered as a 'Motor Caravan' with DVLA. Bed is 6ft long and there's about a foot between the end of the bed and the seats
