I managed to put a replacement interior bulb in at angle and now non of the interior lights work.

Reading through previous postings it was suggested the fuse was a 7.5amp one 5th up from the bottom which also powered the external rear lights but on mine this fuse is just fine (and the rear sidelights work fine).

So which darn fuse is it........

It’s not always a fuse, sometimes the BCM needs resetting. Disconnect the battery for a few seconds and see if that sorts it.

Forgive my ignorance but do I take off the positive or negative to disconnect?
I did ring the local VW workshop but they didn’t know either and said I would have to book it in for investigation.
I haven’t turned the ignition on or started it since I broke it - would that reset it?
Your help very much appreciated, such a simple thing - in theory!

It’s worth a try, start the van then turn it off, see if the interior lights come on. Probably easier to take the +ve off for a few seconds.

Cheers, it’s too dark to try that tonight so will give it ago in the morning, fingers crossed.

Just to make sure we are on same page here it’s the left column and the red fuse below the two green 30a ones ?

Yes, the red fuse is the one I put in to replace the 7.5 which I dropped and it disappeared down under the carpet never to be seen again.i didn’t get to see if it had blown or not before I dropped it. I didn’t have another 7.5 so I temporarily put in a 10 until I can get one.

Thankyou for your support - it’s fixed!!!
My brother said to walk away and leave it for at least 30mins so that it all shuts down and then turn on the ignition.
So I walked up to it, unlocked it - still no lights, opened door, still no lights - turned ignition and on they came....
Wahoooooooo
