Insurance updates when modifications made?

Hi, do I have to inform my insurance company I have side and rear windows fitted to my T6, its insured as a panel van at the moment. Thanks.

I asked the insurance company if new windows would increase the premium and they informed me that the premium would go up by £38.00 + £19.00 for having to add it to my policy. The insurance could be void if I didn't declare any changes to the vehicle.

I think it depends on the company. I was with A-plan a bit ago and they didn't charge anything extra for mods.
