Increased volume DSG cooler

According to the OBDlink website OBDlink MX + (if that is what you have) has its own app for live data as well as other apps like Torque.

I’ve just tried the OBD link app, I can see the water temp, but can’t find the oil or DSG temps.
Any ideas where

I’ve just removed the cooler on my van, I don’t think the bigger “C” type cooler will fit, the mounting holes are completely different, the Audi TTRS uses the DQ500 DSG box, so I would have thought the coolers would fit the same?

Also, removing the original cooler from the top was an absolute swine! Shoehorning the bigger one in would be extremely difficult.

See this thread;

I thought I needed a DSG cooler, due to towing. Didn't in the end. Never seen DSG temps about 87, and that's a peak.

Also what some of the mega mapped Golf Rs do is put a couple of fittings on to the mechatronic cover, then have an external electric pump and oil cooler to just circulate the DSG fluid and cool it. It seems clutch clamping pressure is done by fluid pressure and they see clutch slippage at high BGP due to flow restrictions introduced by an inline oil cooler. Also has the advantage that you stand a better chance of getting home if you hole to cooler.

For T6 OBDlink offers only generic OBD data - thus just selected engine data - unfortunately oil temperature doesn't belong to basic OBD parameters.
Manufacturer specific additional datasets would be under: Settings > Get Enhanced OEM Add-Ons
Alternatively you could build your own dataset under: Settings > User-Defined PIDs

Alternatively:

CarScanner app has quite a few datasets available - I believe even the free versio of the app will do.
E.g. connection profile below has the requested parameters (below a snapshot from CXEB engine + DSG + 4Motion)

Android app Torque does all that for me

Thanks @mmi, you've become the voice of reason for data analysis!

This is exactly what I was looking for, I've already got the OBDLink MX+ which works well with the Car Scanner Pro app which only costs £7.99 for the forever contract.
I'll head out to have a play and see what I can do with it.
