Any of you kaykers used/use a Thule Hullavator. Thinking of getting set as I will struggle greatly to get my s.o.t. on to the roof of the van. Would be interested in any ones experience.

Hi - my mates have just fitted one to their T5 and they love it. It’s an impressive and very well made (but heavy) bit of kit. The kayaks still need to be strapped to it. If you have a pop top check it will take the weight, I think that might be an issue

I would be happy just to have the kayak flat on the cross bars, I just need a way to get it up there.
I may be totally wrong, but I dont think you are going to be able to do that. I think (note, think) that you'll need a cradle. Anyway, you'd probably be better just loading from the back, perhaps using a roller system of some form, if all you want to do is strap the SoT to the bars.
