If your headlights are on, then they won’t illuminate.

What’s the error? Have you checked the bulbs? Are all other lights functioning? What position is the light switch in?

I think DRL’s can be switch off in VCDS. Has anyone done this??

I’ve done the coding to switch them off whilst the handbrake is applied but not to turn them off completely.
It’d be nice to have them turn off when you turn the light switch to ‘off’ but I don’t know if that in itself is a coding option.

My mate bought a then new 10 plate bi-turbo and the drl’s wernt activated. I turned them on for him. That was a T5.1. Not sure on a T6 or above though

T6 Mandatory for them to be working when moving although as above they can be deactivated when the hand brake is applied, I have done that on mine.

Thanks for all your replies I will get it booked in, bulbs both appear intact, will get them checked and the coding.

Engine running, headlights off, handbrake off.
If the above is satisfied and they're not working you've got a problem.
