Hooks for guy ropes (attached to wheels)

Sorry - resurrecting a slightly old thread. So those fixings are just the roof rack mount points? I Don't get my van until next week so not familiar with all the nooks and crannies yet. An awning is going to be a must with two dogs and a 14 year old - I was considering throw over straps but am hearing a few complaints that they're not the most secure.

Yep the threads are already there. Takes no time to install. Good idea to squish a rubber washer or foam tape underneath to avoid leaks. I used foam tape and have had no leaks.

I did wonder about that, something to just help seal the holes better.
