Holidays

The usual for me. Hosting Christmas day for the Mothers in law, then the good stuff over at my Mother on boxing day, where she's lost the plot and doing a Mexican theme. No idea why, I was looking forward to my Mums slooooooow cooked beef that she's famous for! Not sodding oversized bent crisps with minced beef jammed in the middle :( (sorry Mum, and Mexico)

I'm sure I will have time to give the van a clean though

Heading north to spend Christmas with mum and brother then into North Wales in the van with the mountain bike for an ascent of cader Idris, weather permitting.
First real winter trip in the van so looking forward to it.

No Chance of waxing my van anytime soon . . . . . .

We've got the double-hit-combo again this year. Both halves of the family over across both days.

So now just a mad rush to cater for the 10-20 people on each day..... hope we've got enough sprouts =]

My uncle lives by cader. It's lovely

Van is washed & valeted. Off to a wedding in Keswick on Saturday, planning to overnight at the Tan Hill inn (highest pub in England) on the way, it’s a great overnight stop off. A day in Keswick, then off up to Cairngorm for new year. Taking the skis just in case we can get onto one of the Scottish ski areas. Apart from that, not much really

This is last year

Good luck in Dubai @Insert Coin . I lived there for 7 years. It's nice and warm at least.
As for the van you should let one of us look after it for you, at least you know it'll be treated like a posh taxi!:D

Yeah should average about 26c when we get there, just right to sit in it all day without getting roasted.

Not sure I'd want or could afford to live there, but we do enjoy it there and the kids have a great time.

These holidays for me will be fun.... I rented property in Paris and with the almost revolution going on there it will be certainly unforgettable :) because of high season we couldn't cancel it without penalties so now we are going to experience sightseeing with police around us all the time.
