High input sub amplifier, trapping fronts or rears

Hey guys.

I'm in the process of installing an underseat sub.
I'll be using high inputs to a small class D amp.
Would there be a difference between trapping from the fronts or rears speakers?
I assume they all have the same signal going to stock speakers?

Happy days I have cables already laid for this if I remember correctly from when I did the conversion.

Then you can add rear speaker pin outs to the quad lock then feed these to the sub amps high level inputs.

Personally I wouldn't do that, while it seems like a quick win, it's generally not the best way to get decent bass.

The main issue is that most factory head units often apply a 'high-pass filter' to the rear speaker outputs, which basically cuts out the low...
