High Current Draw & Hum Before Engine Started And After Engine Stopped

I was wondering if anyone knows what could be drawing 3.5A when I open the driver's door and then 10A when I turn the ignition on? A hum from under the bonnet corresponds with the increased current draw.

Vehicle: T6 (MY2018), 110kW diesel, manual

Vehicle locked : 0A
Vehicle unlocked: 0.1A
Driver door opened: 3.5A and hum starts
Ignition on: 10A and hum continues
Engine started: -13A (hum probably continues, but drowned out by engine noise)
Engine stopped: 5.2A and hum continues
Wait 90 seconds: 1.5A and hum stops

Any idea what is causing the the hum / current draw? Many thanks.

Interior lights, fuel pump etc etc
Opening the door seems to wake the van up over the canbus system, I have noticed on mine that opening a door makes the cd spin up in the (factory) headunit

Auxiliary water pump and if it was cold, the aux water heater.

Thanks for all the replies.

Loz, do you have any more information about the auxiliary water pump (e.g. a component identifier)?

The nearest components I could find in the VW docs are:

V400 "Pump for cooler of exhaust gas recirculation" in SSP 564 (The 2.0 litre TDI engine in the T6), page 13.

V488 "Auxiliary pump for heating" in SSP 526 (The EA288 Diesel Engine Family with EU6 Compliance), page 21.

Thanks.
