Hi Have a issue with ABS sensor showing a fault code 10H16, which the mechanic can't fathom with his diagnostic equip , the lights come on and go off randomly even when vehicle is stationary with engine off and just ignition switched on. Has any one got any ideas? Also evidence of mice having a nibbles at rubbers and wires under the bonnet.

Thinking that myself, however i changed the rear right ABS sensor Oct last year, Issue on that occasion was corroded wires ,vans only 6 years old , so am thinking could it be corroded wires again?

Mice could be a expensive fix?

Replace the damage and assemble the connector with silicone grease.
To protect against rodents you can apply external sheathing, plastic or preferably braided stainless steel. Readily available on Ebay / Amazon.
