Help - Sliding window T6.1 OEM aperture size different to T6, T5??

I've bought a 2nd hand sliding window vent (CSI) but for some reason the vent is taller than my window aperture

I would have thought the aperture flush window would be the same for t5, t6, t6.1??

Are you talking the aperture in the door for the full window, or just the aperture in the glass for the slidy bit.

If its the latter I believe there was a slight redesign for the 6.1, not enough to prevent leaks, but maybe enough for the glass not to be exactly the same.

Ya talking the aperture of the sliding window as the guy I bought off has a T6.1 21 plate and mines as 24 plate.. window aperture measures 42cm and the vent measure 44.8cm which I assume is the older oem window aperture.. frustrating if so as Raptor painted the outer face on the vent as a little weathered and turned out nice! Should have checked it fitted first... aaah

If anyone who has a sliding window on their t6.1 let me know the aperture height would be very grateful can’t believe mine is different to a 21 plate
