Help finding part number

I THINK I've just had a power steering pipe burst on me. I've called dealers and they want over £300 but cannot release the part number for me. Is anyone able to help me with finding it please?

I think it's number 26, the one that connects to the top of the steering rack column. Many thanks guys!

it's a 2004 1.9 AXB (I should have made that clear in the original post ). Was hoping I could find it a tad cheaper or at least used with the correct part number

Surely there must be one on eBay. You could try a hydraulics place that makes hoses. They might be able to repair it

Try a different dealer? Some friendlier than others I’ve found.

For anyone who needs help in the future... I found a guy on Ebay who has made the hose for me for £75. A direct replacement. I'm happy to share the details for others who may need hose replacements but not sure if I'm allowed on the forum? Certainly beats the £300 +vat from the stealer.

I'll update this thread once I recieve and fit it.

It's a seller called mikethepipe2014. He runs a business called fylde hydraulics in Lancashire.

He didn't actually have the pipe I was looking for but when I messeged him through Ebay, he asked for a picture of the pipe and was able to make one for me. They are definately worth a punt if you need any hoses made up and will be a fraction of the cost of a stealers... especially as some parts for older Transporters are like gold dust now, and the parts you can find aren't always cheap.

Little update. The hose is on and seems to be really good quality. However....

After bleeding the system I still have a nasty rumble/shudder noise on turning on the last half or three quarters of each lock (this noise wasn't there prior to the hose splitting and needing replaced). I only replaced my rack and pump last year but when I discovered this hose was split, the fluid was nearly at the bottom of the reserviour, not empty but about 15mm from the bottom. Would this have damaged my new pump already do you think? I'm more worried that it's wrecked my steering rack. I can't go through that again...

Maybe I'm missing something? I bled it by getting the wheels off the ground, turning lock to lock 15 times with the engine off. I then fired it up and did another 15 rotations. I didn't drop any fluid, but it did throw a bit out over the top of the reserviour.

Any ideas before I set fire to this cursed wagon?
