Hello, from the North East

Hello everyone,
I'm Neil, from Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham.
I've just joined the site, I'm currently looking to buy a LWB Transporter to convert to a full camper conversion, no doubt I'll be posting to pick other member's brains.
I used to own a SWB T6 as my daily drive when I was working mainly as a self employed electrician/gas engineer, but sold up when I moved into a desk job a few years ago.
I'm an Electrical Engineer, at the Nissan factory in Sunderland, so will be doing the vast majority of the work myself. I'll be leaving any pop top fitting to those who know what they are doing, though.

Skyline North at Chester-Le-Street did my poptop a few years ago and they were spot on, even replacing my canvas for a very minor fault.
